Meet Rambo: Rambo is estimated to be under 2 years old, is neutered, housebroken, current on vaccinations, tested negative for heartworm and Lyme disease, and received de-wormers and flea treatments. Rambo was found in an apartment all alone, after being left behind by his owners. He was found by the landlord who contacted animal control. Rambo is very sweet and lovable with volunteers and staff. He is good with other dogs his size and loves to play. Rambo is very strong and would benefit from a fenced yard where he would be able to burn off his energy. Because of his exuberant energy, he should not be placed with children under 10 years old. Despite his abandonment, he is still willing to trust humans and is very loving and enjoys laying on the couch while you rub his belly until he falls asleep. For more information or an application, email dmack@scituatepd.org, call the shelter at (401) 647-7200, or visit the shelter during regular hours: Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri 7 to 11 a.m., Sat 10 a.m

Meet Raven: Raven is estimated to be 2-3 years old, is spayed, housebroken, current on vaccinations, tested negative for heartworm and Lyme disease, and received de-wormers and flea treatments. Hi, my name is RAVEN and I was surrendered to the Scituate Animal Shelter on April 7th. I ended up at the shelter because my owner became ill and could no longer care for me. The volunteers here at the shelter Diane, Nick, Ted and Rick, take excellent care of me and spend so much time with me and this is what they have learned: I am good with other dogs but I DO NOT like cats, I am good on a leash and love to go for walks. I am very strong and have lots of energy to burn so i would benefit from a fenced in yard to expel some of my energy. I love to wrestle with Rambo in the yard – see my video on our home page. I am a very sweet girl and would love to have a home to call my own.
